Donna has been a board member with the Queen Ann Nzinga Center (QANC) since 2014 following her granddaughter’s enrichment experience while in the program. She currently serves as the treasurer for the organization along with being the chairperson of the Finance Committee. Donna is an analyst who delivers strong economic skills that contributes to the financial oversight for the long-term success of QANC. Donna has fostered many relationships through her involvement with QANC and expanded her involvement. She is a giving board member who actively creates assignments for volunteers who are instrumental in implementing events. In addition, she organizes the hospitality gatherings before each event and is always present at performances to oversee ticket and concession sales. She is inspired by the acceptance of all children regardless of ability or disability. She receives satisfaction with the process that leads to the advancement of all children. She envisions QANC to expand and thrive just as the children do within the organization.
