The Watoto Program uses the arts and an Afro-centric based model to foster a strong positive self-image in children and youth. Earle L. Jackson, Sr. is a Plainville native, a gifted athlete, a Vietnam veteran, and accomplished sales executive who is dedicated to keeping the story of African Americans in Plainville alive. Mr. Jackson believes in community and in investing in our future by supporting young people and in 2023 QANC wanted to honor his commitment by renaming our program the Earle L. Jackson, Sr. Watoto Program.
