Rebecca Martinez
Rebecca has lived in Plainville since 2009 with her husband Javier they have two sons Mason and Logan she is a nurse for Elara Caring Home Health Services. She also serves her profession as a member of the State Board of Nursing.
Politics and Government have been an important part of Rebecca’s life. She serves on the Democratic State Committee, and chairs the Plainville, Democratic Town Committee. In 2019 Rebecca ran for office and was elected to the Plainville Board of Education and is currently serving her second term. She is the Vice Chair and Chairs the Curriculum Committee. The opinions she voices and decisions she makes are always based on student advocacy. She is currently a strong voice supporting the Middle School Renovation.
Rebecca is known for her determination and ability to get things done. She is passionate about advocacy and the importance of community service. Her community service has included Plainville Early Learning Center Board, Plainville Family Fest Committee,Wheeler PTO Treasurer, Plainville Rotary Club, and medical for Plainville Colts Football.
