Collaborative Storytelling Featuring Civil War Reenactor Kevin Johnson and Nzinga’s Daughters
Experience an exciting collaboration between Connecticut-based Civil War reenactor Kevin Johnson and the performance ensemble Nzinga’s Daughters!
For the first time Johnson and the Daughters will be creating and performing a piece that will blend Johnson’s reenactment of a soldier of the 29th Connecticut Regiment and the Nzinga’s blend of music and spoken word storytelling.
Sponsored by the B.E.A.T. (Berlin Equity Action Team).
This event is part of a day of Juneteenth Celebration Events at Berlin-Peck Memorial Library. Free and Open to all. Learn more here.

Nzinga's Daughters will be performing this Saturday, October 21 as part of the East Culture Arts, Inc 21st Anniversary & Mid-Autumn Celebration!
Coventry High School, 78 Ripley Hill Rd, Coventry, CT.
The performances will be from 2-4pm. They will also be hosting a dinner in the cafeteria at 5pm.
